Stop Facial Blushing – What Doctors Won’t Tell You
Most facial blushing treatments aren’t common sense – And traditional medicine can’t help you. That said, it’s actually not all that difficult to stop facial blushing, provided you know what to do. In this article, you’ll discover a few conventional methods for stopping blushing (most don’t work) and the most effective method I know of actually getting rid of blushing quickly.
Do Not Take Medications
First of all, do not take medications to calm nervousness. These are often the same or milder versions of panic attack medications.
Although these medications can dull your sense of embarrassment and nervousness in the short term, in the long them they’ll actually worsen the problem.
There IS Something You Can Do About It
Modern medicine may have you believe that there’s not a lot you can do about severe facial blushing . That’s not true at all – Blushing happens because of how your brain is working. Your brain is working in a way that has you create feelings of embarrassment and nervousness.
If you train your mind to work in a different way, you can experience different emotions which will gradually cause less facial redness and eventually none of it.
Blushing is Much More Mental and Emotional than Physical
Some doctors will recommend lowering your body heat, avoiding spicy foods, drinking less alcohol and not smoking cigarettes.
These will help – The healthier and cooler your body is the less facial redness you will have. That said, you can drink and smoke and not blush, and you can eat very healthy and still blush. The main issue is psychological, not physical.
Breaking the psychological aspects of blushing – Namely, excessively caring what others think, nervousness and embarrassment – Will go a long way towards stopping blushing.
One concrete step you can take towards feeling less nervous and more confident in situations where you previously may have felt afraid of embarrassment is to just think of one thing you’re confident about. Put your attention on the aspects of yourself you feel good about – Rather than fearing for parts of yourself you feel nervous about.
The more you acknowledge the parts of yourself you feel confident about, the more confident you will feel and the less likely you are to feel nervous and blush. More about how to stop blushing coming soon….

I definitely agree that facial blushing is mainly psychological. There is a thought process that goes on inside your head that causes normal situations to feel monumental in terms of what others think of you. If you can gradually change this thought process the problem will fade away. NLP works good for this as does just getting out there and putting yourself in social situations. Slowly, of course. It’s all about taking those baby steps.
I have to state, you chose your words well. The ideas you wrote on your encounters are well placed. This is an incredible blog!
